Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT-Tapping)

EFT is the abbreviation for Emotional Freedom Technique, a technique referred to as psychological acupressure and acupuncture without the use of needles. EFT is a form of energy medicine based on the meridians. This technique helps release blockages, and trauma in the body’s energy system that challenges us emotionally by triggering limiting beliefs, perceptions and behaviours. These negative energies stop us from living life harmoniously. Besides this, emotional disharmony is often the key factor that contributes to things like stress, fear, overwhelm, self-doubts, negative mindset or perceptions, anxiety, unhealthy relationships and more within people.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT-Tapping) uses fingertips to gently tap on the acupressure meridian points of the body thereby stimulating them while mentally tuning into specific issues. Tapping with fingers on the end points of energy meridians sends kinetic energy to our energy system and simultaneously uncovers and focuses on root causes which facilitates a shift of the energy system. It eliminates learnt responses and negative emotions and reprograms them positively.

In other words, EFT balances disturbances in the meridian system which provides relief from emotional distress and anxiety, as well as physical pain and discomfort. It releases the emotional blocks in your subconscious mind, freeing it to work cohesively with the body in the most optimal way. It helps you gain self-confidence, self-belief and allows you to nurture your relationships with a positive mindset.

EFT reduces tension, promote a deeper mind-body connection, and manages or lets go of symptoms of that all contribute to unhealthy relationships with yourself and others.
